Re: Best place to buy 315s
You might want to look at where you want to play before buying tires. Many classes are now 200tw or above. I can't remember if that was the case when you were running with us regularly. Love the car, BTW Yeah, I will be doing more track days vs autox this year is my plan. So looking for a more trac...

Re: Best place to buy 315s
I don't need 200TW, but don't want full slicks either.
I normally go through tire rack, but from what I have found they aren't competitive price wise. Nearly $300 more expensive on a set of R888R's

Best place to buy 315s
Looking to pick up a fresh set of tires to do a few track days on and for light street duty. Is there any where that offers crazy good deals? Simpletire seems to be the best bet so far but if y'all know of any better options I'm all ears. Flexible on tire size too. Anywhere from 285/30-315/30 and ca...

Re: Regional 2 After-Action Discussion
Great event, really glad the fun runs happened after the cold/wet first run group.
I remember hearing about a national event over 4th of July weekend, and one other (not dragcross) that I can't find any info for on this site. Can I get reminded what they were, and where exactly?

Re: Looking for tires for a C5Z
Yeah the 315 on the 10.5 is super common on the C5. There are plenty of 11 inch wheels out there and yet the majority rock the stock rears all around and still go fast. I'm all about not stretching tires I like a little "balloon" action. Ran 255s on my 8" wheels and really liked how t...

Re: Looking for tires for a C5Z
That's what I have heard, that they "fall over" but I think the extra width will make up for it VS a 275

Re: Looking for tires for a C5Z
Yeah looks like that's what I will end up with, I would prefer a 295 square setup but they just don't exist for the Rival.

Looking for tires for a C5Z
Just got a new car to come out and play with, but its on 8 year old tires. I am grabbing a set of 18x10.5 +56 square setup, but having a hard time finding tires in a reasonable size. I can have 315s on all 4 running Rival S but I don't know if that is the best setup. Will be driven to and from event...

Re: Help Needed Guaranteed Auto Repairs
Take the oil cap off and see if there is water/froth on the bottom of the cap. Quick and easy first diagnoses step for head gasket. Or check if coolant has oil in it. Next step would be to take the hoses top and bottom off radiator and run water through it to verify its clear. Again, thats a quick a...
