Re: 7/20/14 Worker Signup

Lucas, help is not as important as learning how to connect and trouble shoot it all. Equipment setup should be a one-person job. We just need a couple more back-ups to learn the stuff. To keep everyone up to speed on it, we should really be taking turns with it. Right now, Bob is doing it just about...

Re: Toledo Pro 06/28/14

2nd PAX overall is pretty impressive no matter how you look at it. Good job James. Those courses though, wow. I've expressed my discontent for all things Toledo in the past. This just confirms how I feel about it. It's just too long a drive for sticky piece of concrete that's too small for a big eve...

Re: E-85 in ST

Fuels comprised of more than 15% ethanol may only be used when specified by the manufacturer (e.g., in the owner’s manual for flex-fuel vehicles First gen Miatas are not "flex-fuel" vehicles, so it is NOT allowed. If he wants to run a 2004 Taurus with Vulcan motor, E85 would be allowed. J...

What thread size/pitch/seat? Don't let that stop you from showing up. Someone will have a lug nut for you. Worst case, you can probably run out to a parts store sometime between registration and running cars.

Re: A couple questions before the autox 6/22

STM allows unlimited mods, as long as you're running greater than 140 treadwear tires. You're definitely legal there, and several other Subaru's run that class as well. I think you might also fit in STC. Participation in that class can be hit or miss. Sometimes there are a couple that run it, someti...

Re: SEDIV SOLO July 26-27

I don't think I will be at this event due to a schedule conflict, but... I really like the thought of using rallyX scoring format. If divisionals are struggling, it makes sense to do something to set them apart. Having to be clean and consistent on more than one run per day is an additional challenge.

I think I have 78" between the fenders. Trying to squeeze that in there may be more trouble than it's worth. If you think that works for you, send me a PM, and we'll figure out the details.
