It just happens occasionally. The power connector is a little flaky. Power cycling the display (instructions are on the back of it) usually fixes it.

Experience is so much more important than gender. I give her a few more events, and she will probably be beating up on any male STM newcomers. Especially in that car. STM is looking like a big class tomorrow. The Geo should be out there too. We think it might stay together long enough to make a few autocross runs.

I should be there to help out with equipment setup.

We have a local-only class we call STM. It allows any car as long is it's on street tires with a treadwear of 140 or higher. Personally, i can't tell anything without jacking the car up. Kristo however has some kind of special talent for picking on that stuff. On a few occasions he has noticed something i couldn't feel even on a jack. A couple events later, and i would be replacing a bearing or something.

Our Geo LeMons car is a bit lighter than a Cobalt, but.... On one set of 225/45/16 ZII's, we did 3 24hrs of LeMons races, and 6 or so autocrosses with 3 or 4 drivers.
