That car is sick. I've seen that video before.

It might be SM legal depending on what's been done to it. It would probably suck at an autocross, though. All top end boost and nothing down low.

I think all you need for a hardtop car is a roll bar. I believe you would still need the fire equipment, though. I don't have my rulebook handy but I know the information is in there.

Way cool car but not legal for SM. I don't think the flares would be a problem since you can do them in SP but there is way too much cutting and welding and relocating going on for SM. Might make for a really cool E Mod car but I don't know what kind of limitations you have there.

I'd go for the grip over the gearing. If you were running a turbo, that might be a different story but you have the V8 stump pulling torque. The slightly larger diameter tire shouldn't be a problem with the V8.

Sounds like a plan to me!

I didn't notice the tires looking particularly oversized on his car. He is running a Cobra Mustang with the shaker hood scoop. I would be surprised if that car has the same wheel size as yours. There are several reasons why Andy's car can get away with that wide tire on a narrow wheel. The biggest r...

Help with club trailer?

As most of you know, I am putting on the event this weekend at Meco. I could really use some help getting the trailer to the event if possible. My Suburban is questionable for hauling it and it would require me to make four trips to Greenville from Knoxville in order to do this. Is there anyone out ...

Yeah, what Mark said. You probably have enough experience that you would need to be on the Hoosiers (or Kumhos). Maybe Tony could hook you up on some Kumhos since he's too good for an Evolution school.  I doubt you would trash the new Hoosiers but you would definitely take some life off ...

Good size, good pavement, good course designer. Seriously, it's a little bigger than what we use at Oak Ridge with a more friendly layout for different courses. Paddock space will be strange because we will be on an access road. From my trip up there a couple of months ago, the pavement is...

You'd think that corner workers would not be screwing around at a national level event. The course working was some of the worst I have seen this year. There were several protests similar to John's. I personally had to yell at a course worker to stop him from running out in front of a car in the Pr...

Just keeping this on the top. This would really be a good thing for the Subaru guys to attend. If we make an impressive showing, this could go a long way to getting more enthusiasm from Subaru dealers in the area which in turn would help the Subaru owners that are motorsports enthusiasts. I'll be th...

The site/courses in Nashville are much more like the courses in the challenge and will give better practice than the other site. I really hate to miss our event but I really need to get the feel of the Subaru on a more open course. You obviously haven't seen Meco and you haven't looked at who will ...
