The local circle track guys should have some snake oil you can slap on there. Been there, done that. It made the tires softer but I don't really think they retained more grip. Store them in sealed bags over the winter. That will help. Your tires might be the plateau you were complaining about in ano...

Looks like Robert paid more "grease" money than you did in order to get them to only add up 6 events in Pro Class!

Technically, you could build the car for STS and be legal. In stock class, you can perform all the changes to change from one option package to another if you change EVERY SINGLE PART that is different for that package. Since that is allowed in stock class, it is allowed in STS. That is something th...

sorry guys, car sold today. Probably better that way. I would have been shot for dragging another car home, and I still get to keep my $20. BTW, there's still a Scirocco for sale in the region, although for a bit more money. I'll wheel and deal until I start taking it apart! Thanks for trying to he...

If it's louder than my car, then no. Nobody is allowed to have a louder car than mine. Seriously, though. It would really just be a judgement call. I would suggest trying it at the event this weekend and if it is too loud, then you would probably have to put some sort of muffler on it at the f...

Spotted: Lotus Elise

While in Atlanta, at the Subaru Challenge, we spotted two Lotus Elises in the parking lot of Johnny Carino's. It looked as if the silver one might be a pre-production car. There were a lot of subtile differences between the silver one and the orange one. http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/dsp33@prodig...

Wow, that's quite an undertaking. Hope it all goes well and we see you in the spring. I've always thought Dave and Dave needed some competition.
