Yeah, I noticed that about TU. Their schedule isn't up on FB, anyway.
Do Barber if you can. Fun track!

Re: Splitter Material?
Cool. If you want to try after work, just give me a shout. Not like I'm busy or anything here lately.
I'll be surprised if the 17x9s don't bolt onto the NSX, their 72.6 bored is pretty good sized.

Re: Splitter Material?
It's not. I have 2 sets of 17x9s with different tires and offsets for each set.thrdeye wrote:How is your tire changing your offset?

Re: Splitter Material?
Hub bore on the STI is 56.1mm. 17x9s are +42 w/ 245/40 and +45 w/ 255/40, both 72.6mm bore.Wheelman_13 wrote:Marcus, do you know what the hub bore is on the stock STI wheel, and what the offsets are on that and the 17x9?

Re: Splitter Material?
Yeah, along those lines, anyone have a 17" wheel with a 235/40 tire on it and a 5x114 bolt pattern I could mooch for an hour to check some clearances? Got a stock STI LTD wheel with a 225/45/17. But, the center bore may not be big enough for the NSX. Baring that, I have 17x9 wheels (73mm bore)...

Re: GoPro Hero3... Yes, Hero3
^ Yes. See below. ^^ Yeah, he was going to a Turn 1 event, courtesy of a GroupOn deal from early on last year. I think he'd scheduled the first weekend in December. Nice vid! Yes, that is a bunch of wind noise! I'd recommend an external microphone, with the cable run and the mike mounted somew...

Re: GoPro Hero3... Yes, Hero3
On the Hero2 the waterproof door would create a hiss (not what I'd call wind noise) when used on a car at speeds above about 40. As a result, I never use the waterproof door unless it's raining. Actual wind noise sounds nothing like the irritating hiss. I bet it's the same situation with the Hero3. ...

Re: GoPro Hero3... Yes, Hero3
I've been thinking about a Hero 3 Silver, but there are a ton of complaints on the web about them freezing up while recording (requiring a battery pull to correct). Anyone know anything about this first hand? The biggest pro for me on the 3's is the wireless and the phone app. It would be great to ...

HJC XXL M2005 Helmet
Finally upgraded to a SA2010 HJC, so my old one is for sale. It's just over 4 years old, purchased in May/June of 2008. Seen plenty of AXes and < 10 track days. M2005 rated. There is a scratch on the lense from where it was dropped by a friend, unfortunately. $25 OBO cash, pickup in West Knox. Best ...

TGPR Track Day 1/26/13
Len's at it again... I am trying to put together a track day at Talladega Gran Prix for January 26, 2013. Cost will be $145.00 per car/spot, limited to 20 spots. There will be 4 run groups of 5 cars running approximately 15 minute runs every hour from 9-5, with an hour break for lunch. You wil...
