When I'm sorted put enough to actually run it, I feel like it's very helpful, even when I don't have a co-driver. I like to try different approaches to sections of the course that I'm not completely sure of the best method of attack and compare data between runs. I generally don't sync video at events

Moving beyond the course discussion, let's talk about course-working. I had three consecutive runs where I yelled for course workers to check a cone in the offset before the slalom. In the "analysis" screen where you're looking at the course layout and all the pre-made sections, to the top right you'll see a button that says "edit sections". That allows you to make your own custom breaks for analysis however your prefer.
