1.5 tons is 3000 pounds and since you're only picking up one side/end of the car at a time, you should be good. The 1.5 ton is great for travel due to its small size and weight. I'm getting some conflicting advice for sizes on RE71R's for my Mustang. It has 19x9 fronts and 19x9.5 rears. Some folks say 285 is too wide for those fronts. Anyone have first-hand experience with this, or good inside knowledge on pros and cons?
