Re: Event 1 2017

Last I looked we had 117 paid entries yesterday that number could be higher when the final totals come in. It was the best opening day ever for ETR. Like others have said...easy simple course.. at least 3 cars running at a time..6 runs...done around 5PM. Registration was able to be up and running b...

Re: Event 1 2017

Great event today. Roughly 120 drivers and 6 runs. Great job to everyone keeping the event rolling. I hope everyone had fun! Jeff's Mustang is always fun and I got to take a spin in my Focus, literally. :-) Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk I also got to "take a spin" in my Mustang at ...

Thanks for all the advice. I think I will compromise and go with the 2-ton.

I will probably want to use it at home as well to make changes to the exhaust and suspension later on down the road.

Re: Recommendation for lightweight floor jack?

1.5 tons is 3000 pounds and since you're only picking up one side/end of the car at a time, you should be good. The 1.5 ton is great for travel due to its small size and weight. If I were buying something that would stay in the shop all the time, I'd go with the bigger models. How about max lift he...

Re: Recommendation for lightweight floor jack?

I love the harbor freight aluminum jack. Super light. Breaks down easy for hauling in trunk. 1.5 ton capacity. Mine is 3 years old and works great. Get the light weight matching jack stands. It goes on sale all the time. Got it for like 49.00. Is the 1.5-ton stout enough for a 3800-pound car? I kno...

Re: Recommendation for lightweight floor jack?

I've been using one of these for many years: http://www.harborfreight.com/2-ton-aluminum-racing-floor-jack-with-rapid-pump-62247.html Be sure to get a jack stand to go with it, no matter what brand jack you end up with. Edited to add: They also have 1.5 and 3 ton models I was just looking at that e...

Recommendation for lightweight floor jack?

Got me some new wheels and tires coming and plan to haul them to events, so I need a floor jack for the 2016 Mustang GT. Looking for low-profile, lightweight, and not too pricey. Brand, model, and source would be good to have. Thanks!

I certainly took the policy as two seasons, no matter how few I ran, when I decided my time was up in novice.

Re: Newbie Here, Hello to All

As far as numbers pick a number 1-99 and they need to be 8" tall. You will also need 4" tall class letters once that is identified. If you go to our page a complete list of instructions for novice drivers or new drivers is listed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk As far as which specifi...

Anyone have experience with 285's on 9-inch width wheels?

I'm getting some conflicting advice for sizes on RE71R's for my Mustang. It has 19x9 fronts and 19x9.5 rears. Some folks say 285 is too wide for those fronts. Anyone have first-hand experience with this, or good inside knowledge on pros and cons?

Thanks!
