Curt, the tire warmer thing really doesn't work in a Pro Solo. The fastest driver ends up running first and on the cold tires. By the time the second driver usually gets to run, the tires are cold again. The only time you end up running against another class is in the challenge, as Mark said. WHen y...

hmm, maybe....but doesn't make sense to me since WRX is D stock and STi is A stock. Uh... much better performance, maybe? Would you want to run a stock WRX against a stock STi? BTW, Leadfoot is right on the ESP classing. I thought STX might be a better fit but the STi is specifically excluded from ...

Just wanted to bring this one back up to everyone's attention. The entry limit is 200 and as of right now, there are 146 registered on the web. There may be more that are registered that aren't on the web. In other words, if you plan to attend, or you think you might, you need to get your entry in v...

I am pretty sure that I am going to participate this season, is this something that I need? I have not done it before. TIA If you plan on making modifications to your car for autocross then it would be in your best interest to buy a rulebook. That way you don't end up doing something that would put...

Yep, 83' gts for a daily while the supra's down for the turbo... If you've got someone in the back seat, she's bottoming out... period. Not to mention I can get 3 oscilations using the weight/release test on the front end. Jeez, what is it with these cars? (Silly toyota and non-gas-charged front in...

Describe what I would see if blown vs just worn. I think obvious stuff would be lots of bounce which I don't have.....I do feel some rear bottoming but then again I'm not a small guy either..... If you bouce each corner of the car and it does more than just come back up, then the shocks are either ...

If your shocks aren't blown then I would go with tires before shocks. The tires are the biggest improvement you can make. If the shocks are blown then get the shocks and get some Falkens. If you aren't driving the car daily, the Falkens should last all season long and still give very good grip. If y...

Carter Thompson has a 350Z but he is in Nashville. You might still try him, though since he is always looking for an edge.

Have you checked with any of the local hose shops like Royal Brass and Hose? How about some of the big truck shops like Truck Pro. I'll second Royal Brass and hose. They tend to have some oddball stuff although they can be a pain to deal with at times. You might try Knoxville Rubber and Gasket whil...
