Another great event! I have to say that my spin on my first run was the first time driving in a controlled environment that I've been genuinely scared. I did not see or feel that coming AT ALL. Car felt stable, I felt like I was putting power down, and then BOOM, spinning through the grass. I guess ...

I'm fired up! Its supposed to be nice tomorrow, I've got R compounds that need to be used up before winter, and most importantly, they are already loaded in the car :!:

Scott, I'd ask you when you were leaving, but I already know that we like to travel at different rates of speed.

What is ironic is that it is the MR2 people who are saying the miata's will be competitive, and the miata people that are saying they won't. Both sides are saying that this will "spell the end of ES". I've been following the ESP rally car vs. pony car discussions all year on SCCAForums an...

The arena was there when I started school in Fall '97, so it is at least that old. You used to be able to pull up an overhead of it on Mapquest, but I think I heard that Mapquest has pulled that feature. I'll check a little later.

Tex Turner Arena parking lot at LMU in Harrogate, TN

Scott, I THINK you scribbled this down at the last meeting, but just in case....... The Tex Turner Arena upper level parking lot at LMU. The arena has just over 5,000 seats, so that gives you an idea of the size of the lot. I can't remember how the islands and lamposts are layed out, but here is a p...

good course. gave the bigger cars a little room, yet didn't seem to put the lower hp cars at a disadvantage. i usually like the two lappers. my only regret is eating at subway before my run group. there was a time period that i thought i was going to have to forget about autocrossing and go inside a...

great event, great weather. it felt real good to be on course. for some reason, i don't really seem to get excited about the 411 events, but whenever i get out there, it really gets my adrenaline going.
