I wish I could go. I had fun last year. If anyone is going that hasn't been there, be sure your brakes work well.

I doubt you would be SP legal. In order for the swap to be SP legal, both the 1.8L car and the WRX would have to be on the same line in the rulebook. I don't have the rulebook handy but I don't think they are even in the same class, let alone the same line. I'm a little less familiar with the SM rul...

I don't know if anyone that reads the board knows him since he hasn't autocrossed in many years but he passed away yesterday from leukemia. He ran some events with ETR many years ago in a 4wd Toyota Tercel wagon and later in an FX-16. He was president of the UT Sports Car Club when I started at UT a...

the Locost is, umm, distracting the first few times you drive it. Yeah, going from a Miata to the Locost at the Bristol Bash last year was amusing. My first impression was, WOW! I'm here already! ,when approaching the slalom that seemed to be a long way away from the start in everything els...

Not to burst Tony's bubble but arent the V710's on the unapproved list due to a tread separation issue. At one point, Khumo was ordered to confiscate all of them in circulation. Khumo may have resolved the issue but I'd check with SCCA first before I wrote the big check. I'm sure what he has are th...

15" Hoosier Autocross Tires for sale

Almost new pair of P225/45ZR-15 A3SO4 tires for sale. They have approximately 15 runs on them. This is the new style tire that seems to last for quite a while. I just did some back to back testing with these tires and the tires I have run on all year long seem to be as fast as the ones I hadn't run ...

Sorry, but I have to agree with Dewey on this one. I think if we open the door for one, it gets opened for all. That would make it difficult for timing and scoring. Why not do the design on the front and do some regular numbers on the sides? Don't the rally guys have actual numbers on the side windo...

If toyota really wanted to do something right they would go back to the drawing board with the celica and remake it rwd like the early models. AMEN! I had both a '79 and an '83. The 79, while not as good looking or fast, was a tank. I abused the heck out of that car and only had one issue with it. ...
