Re: What are your goals in autocross?
I think you're barking up a tree in the wrong forest. Most people come out to these events to legally rag on their car and have fun with little expense. Those that wish to pursue a "career" in autox will find YOU(the people that can get them there). Of course, this is my logic and we all k...

Re: What are your goals in autocross?
i would like to beat Tony Bolton :fight: You've got the car, now you just need to goto the School of Strano. Once completed and you adjust your tire psi by .00453psi, you will be putting 14 seconds on the A-Mod cars. As for my goals? Not sweat or get sun burned are at the top of the list. Actually,...

Good God, what a blast of a course!!! Good driving rife. I woke up late and went mountain biking instead. I can see I made the wrong decision.

Re: WOW! My 8/21/11 event is OPEN!
The only people who benfit from it are the guys with fast/prepped cars, who already win events, and get FTD at events. My car is FWD, heavy, has too much power, and is not built for any class. I get beat by the top 5 cars by 3-5 seconds, why would I have any interest in racing against them? :lol2:

I do believe I have a few more events under my belt than you do.MATT-X wrote:You like watching people run the reverse courses?
And yes, with weather like TODAY, I could do autocross year 'round!

Hmmmm, outnumbered but I liked the reverse courses. It's like you're getting 2 autocross's for the price of one.

Or you could just get on forums and complain about events that you dont have any intention of participating in. ...any intentions due to previous unchanged reasons. What's that saying; "Fool me once, shame on me...etc, etc, etc.... " 8) Also, I can assure you Matt is now "educated&qu...

Re: PCA Autocross- 8/13 at PSCC -CANCELLED
They can delete it if they feel the need. After meeting most of you and spending a year at the events I figured people would have a lighter sense of humor and tougher skin. I didn't aim to offend anyone, even PCA. Just stating displeasure due to the fact that I have now worked very hard to obtain a...

Tony, find out what range it has for transmiting/recieving. Does it have to be line of sight? What software it uses. or can it integrate into other systems. what kind of reliability is there? ya know, all them pesky details. Contrary to popular belief, we do like things that make the events move al...

No, the post was not supportive. I get that. And no, I won't plan on any PCA events. I apologize for being a negative nancy . Careful, you're gonna peg the sound meter with a 109. Might wanna tone it down a bit to like 83 or 93 or 95 or 91.....hell, just pick a number, there might be a wind blowing...

Re: Sound Report, Chilhowee 8/7/11
I'll talk with Bill during the RTTH event next month. I wanna say his whole setup was like 400-500 bucks. Not sure if that's expensive in the ETR eyes, though. Anyways, I wasn't trolling. I suppose I'll just file this thread under "Many things I just don't understand about the ETR/SCCA". T...
