Re: Event 7 checkin

forecast has deteriorated so moving things up probably won't help - gonna be wet no matter what.

Re: Event 7 checkin

I mean I'm just a peon throwing ideas out there, but have a goal of having cars off by 9:45? start everything 10 minutes earlier, keep the drivers meeting curt since it'll probably mostly be veterans showing up when the forecast is crappy, 5 min warning at 915, meeting at 920, over by 930?

Re: Event 7 checkin

I'll be there if we're short in any positions. Any chance we could get rolling a little earlier? Looks like the chances of getting stopped by lightning increase as the day goes on.

Re: Event 6 after action

Dave and I couldn't cool the tires off fast enough with so little time between drivers, we needed some more time in there. Other than that it was a good event, course was surprisingly fun albeit kind of frustrating - I feel like I left a ton of time out there, there was a bunch of time to be had on ...

Re: Event 3 after action

....sucks to suck. worst event I can remember ever having. course was wicked though, just struggled with the visuals after that screaming fast right hander. Good to see Mr. Collett back out there shredding. p.s. my first run was a DNF that they didn't call if anyone wants to fix that in the results....

Re: Regional 2 After-Action Discussion

Also, based on a few videos I saw of Cody's runs, some photographer and his spotter were standing dangerously close to the line in a spot where a spinning car definitely would've nailed them. I'm not a safety nazi at all, I'm not risk averse by nature, but that was blatantly stupid - they've obvious...

Re: Thanks for a well-run first event of the season!

C6Z's normally put down around 440-450whp stock IIRC, 505bhp. Dont really know the bhp for the mustang or challenger to compare since theyre so modified. Your car is skinny and light Harp! whered he lose all that weight in the mustang?! It was 3700 a couple years ago I think.

Re: Thanks for a well-run first event of the season!

I wonder how accurate speedo data from the car is though, dont speedometers typically read high to prevent people from speeding as much? Any idea how much power that challenger is making at the wheels JB? JY's mustang is at 550whp/3700lbs, the Z06 is probably 440whp/3200lbs

Re: Thanks for a well-run first event of the season!

Also just realized the results dont add the time penalty onto the runs in the results. Thats why I thought Greg would've had me, nevermind. If that ES MSM was really hitting limiter in 3rd then that course really was way too wide open  curious what speeds we hit in the Z06.. guessing 75ish?

Re: Thanks for a well-run first event of the season!

That was a good course - nothing painful and the slaloms and offsets were narrow/tight enough to slow down the big power cars - Barr in ES was close and Greg would've beat me if he were clean. Fast but fair course.
