Re: Blytheville Pro

It doesn't appear that I will be able to be there for the school. Guess it will be extra exciting for my first runs.

Blytheville Pro

So I signed up for my first ProSolo event for Blytheville. What do I need to know that is different from other events?

Re: **APRIL FASTRACK NEWS**

I agree it is way past time to standardize the ST* rule set. The way they have created classes in the past is not something I understand. A class just because things are roadsters? Seriously? This putting all turbo cars together doesn't seem like a fully baked idea. They won't have the same performa...

Re: Dixie Tour Thread

By my last run on Sunday I was starting to get the hang of how to drive the Corvette. I just wish I had gotten there a day sooner. It's going to be a wild year with that car. I haven't felt like I did finishing my Sunday runs since my first year autocrossing.

Re: Dixie Tour Thread

Oh yeah, due to inconvenient recent weather events this will be my first event driving the corvette. I signed up for the evo advantage school because, yeah, it's probably gonna be a shit show for me

Re: Evolution Driving School

The phase 2 was awesome as well. Conditions were less than perfect. Cones were so cold and hard that I put a small crack in the front splitter. It's repairable with some heat and touch up paint though. https://scontent-atl3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-0/s640x640/17264911_10212684216169992_335417653509653...

Re: Codrive?

I may have occasional co-drive opportunities in my STR Miata at events at Smokie's Stadium, but only at smokie's stadium events. The car won the local STR class last year. I've already booked the car for this coming event this weekend.

Re: Dixie Tour Thread

Ok I'll be going. I figured out today that I've got the time available to go in March and the car is sorted so I signed up. I guess I need to get a room where everyone is staying at now.

That is correct. You have to pull the springs and the valve stem seals to check the movement with the heads still on the car.

Re: Dixie Tour Thread

Mine heads seem to be ok for now. I didn't check every cylinder, only 2 per side. From what I read it looked like you would either get an entire head machined wrong or a bad set of guides on a head. Anyhow my numbers had all the intakes between 0.0015" and 0.0017" clearance and the exhaust...
