That option will probably be less expensive but it is still something that you couldn't do without correcting the toe. Any camber change, regardless of method, will change the toe.

BTW, caster changes will do this also but usually to a much smaller degree.

Yeah, but the threat of too many heat cycles might keep you from putting a bunch of miles on the "collector car."

Re: Are camber plates a PITA to use? Questions....

How long would this take me to do each time? I would assume the car needs to be in the air? How much of an effect with this have on toe in/out when adjusted? I don't have them on my car but from what I have seen, they look to be easy to adjust, just loosen the bolts and slide the strut in or out. Y...

So are we all planning to be there at 10, or just dropping by randomly. I think a show of force would be better. That sounds good to me. Where is Oven Mitts? He needs to show off the new transplant. BTW, if anyone that owns a Subaru can't be there but wants to, I would be happy to take your car out...

Just bumping this back up. There are only 4 entries on myautoevents.com and that includes me. We have several Subaru owners on here. You guys need to get registered and go. You need to register instead of just showing up. Again, this could become something great for the Subaru owners in the area tha...

Some VWs have a similar setup. Just thinking more about this braking issue... I know a few people that have tried mismatching parts from different braking systems and ended up with similar results to what you are describing. Usually the problem occurs with a VW when you have a non-power brake setup ...

I only have one request, instead of making it an oval, do a figure 8. That way we get equal abuse on both tires. :)

Your car appears to be particularly hard on front tires. That will make the heat issue worse on your car. Get some Kumhos (the real race version).

I have to keep my Hoosiers hosed down also. My car is probably a lot less abusive on the front tires than yours.
