Most timing folks know by now to add the additional C into the class. First two or three events with that were a little confusing though. "Why do so many cars not exist in axware? What did registration screw up?"

Re: Membership Meeting idea
Its a good idea, but I wouldn't do it before the first event. Need more consistently warm weather.

Re: Tri-Cities Potential Spots
The only potential issue I see is that there is a loading dock right off that lot, we may need to do a little coordination to make sure we don't interrupt any business related to that.

Re: WTB Air Compressor
Agreed with what everyone said about running grinders and the like. Anything that is a constant use type tool (grinders, cut off wheels, paint guns, etc) is going to require more than a $200 investment. I've got a small home depot model that was about $120 (4 years ago) and works great for impacts a...

Re: Severe rust repair
Yeah. Cutting and welding then sealing is the way to go. I've got a similar project on our classic beetle but it's much simpler to pull the body off the frame and have full access than your truck.

Re: Regional #12 post-event
I had a great time! This was my second event with SCCA, and the first(and only) event at Pellissippi. My tires couldn't get enough heat built up to get any grip.
