Yep, with only two events deciding a championship, it's tough to slice it no matter how you do it.

But I don't think the points are that simple unless he came out with a win and got 100 points. Let's say you both finish a couple spots down....you'll be calculating the percentage off of the winners time....and even though he might beat you by more than you beat him....he might lose by more time relative to the leader than he lost to you.

But yes, if he got the win, you better be within .279

That's how I think it would work. I suck at math and it gets real muddy if neither of you are the winner.

Im planning on winning. however, if I got 11th (it could happen) Id still have 2 events and a chance to win overall (only if JY was behind me) but if JY got 11th, he could mathematically be beaten by a 1 eventer.

So, does their system not show each run ,that should show penalties for each run? The results are very vague at best.
Btw, pro class has still not been officially decided. JY and I may have figured it out.. but it's hard when the pax times are raw times ..lol

When I ran the results I could not get D2 to show on the final result detail. It showed up on all the other reports but not the "final"

this is exactly why we went to our "percentage of win" to calculate winners..

here is how JY and I figured it coming home Sat.
I had him by .280 at first event. He got me by .170 (I think) in Atlanta. That leaves me at a .110 advantage... that correct?

Pro class is won and lost by .001 its amazing we were that close after that many runs.
