This guy has done all my vehicles over the last 10+ years (probably a dozen vehicles) and has always done a good job:

Solar Pros in South Knox has a good reputation. They did my Camaro a long time ago.

Anyone ever use a 90% or 85% on their front windshield? There are apparently some films out there that are essentially clear, but do a great job of blocking heat and UV. Any glare cutdown would also be good for this one-eyed guy.

I had it done on my last Mazda 3. It wasn’t normal tint but was especially for windshields. It’s hard to say how much good it did as I didn’t do a before/after test.

You could kinda tell something was on there if you were wearing polarized lenses, but it wasn’t problematic.

It probably helped with the heat and it wasn’t very expensive. Did it make the interior cool on a hot summer day? Nope.

No personal experience with windshield tint but I just got the tint redone on the Camaro and was really impressed with the guy I used. Let me know if you need contact info. He is in Maryville.

Mark, I'd take that contact info. I need the windows in my truck done.

The windshield on the subaru has a slight tint, not sure how dark, but from the outside it's a little hard to see in. But from the inside you barely notice it's there, but it definitely helps with glare
