I still see Brian LaRose listed in the Bristol #7 Results in CAM-T class rather than being in C. Of course it doesn't matter since he's a DNS too. Everything else looks OK now.

The link on this page isn't right for my points either, as it misses the match tour for me still.

John, on the 2016 points update, it shows you with 100 points. I am not sure if you are looking at the ETR points or Gary's points. If you go to etrscca.org and then scroll down that page to 2016 results and at the top of that says 2016 points. Click on that for the official updated points and event 7 is not showing as of yet.

We haven't messed with points yet. Are the results right on all the events she drove in? If not, I need to fix that before we run points.

Brian, run the points, the event tim is talking about is event 7 which isn't showing till that event is included in the points update.

I'll show Brian how to update points on Sunday. We should also get Gary to remove his points spreadsheet and points back at the official points, as its just causing confusion and has been hard to maintain with all the two day, rallyx timing, divisional, etc. stuff we've been doing. He just did that because I wasn't updating the official points fast enough for everyone.

After this weekend, Brian can run them sometime after each event and it should take care of everything.

Yeah the ETR site points have been right (for me) for a while, just meant the other link was missing some bits.

Just wondering about this. If we do this I will have points for this event and may have a chance at winning the class still. I haven't run any numbers though but this would at least give me seven events.

Jon,

The problem is that we ran on different courses, as well as different days. Adding ten seconds to the slowest time works if you are counting the cumulative time from four runs and you only manage to make three. It doesn't work if you didn't make any runs.

I would tend to agree with you Dewitt but the powers that be decided to use rallycross scoring so it sounds like I would get a time for Sunday and you would get one for Saturday. Slowest time in class +10 seconds.

Chris,

If the course was the same on both days, how come the Sunday times were a lot faster than the Saturday times?

Jon,

The supps made no allowance for DNS:
This event will be scored differently than your typical autocross. We will be using a "RallyCross" scoring method. This means that your entire cumulative time across Saturday and Sunday competition will decide the SEDiv 2016 Champion. You will receive one drop run on Saturday, and one drop run on Sunday. A DNF will be a 10 second penalty, but only if you rejoin the course beginning with the element you missed. If you do not finish the course in it's entirety (mechanical issue, for example), you will be given the slowest time in class, plus 10 seconds, for that run.
Note the quotation marks. It doesn't say RallyCross scoring, it says a "RallyCross" scoring method. Using slowest time plus ten seconds means whoever had the slowest timed run relative to their average times would win because the penalty time would be equal for both. Also, if the DNS rule had been announced in advance, I would have driven differently. For sure, my first run would have been really, really slow, like 20 or 30 seconds slower.

I see this as I didn't finish the course in its entirety, therefore I get slowest time plus 10 seconds.
