Also, I have to run around 21 psi with my v720's (225 on 15x9) and still the wear mark is above the triangle indicators!
Check your camber. Mine got faster and better wear with less camber than I could achieve. 3 degrees didn't get the outside inch to even touch the ground. Uniform usage, at least at bristol, seemed to be around 1.7-1.9 degrees camber up front and 25-26 psi. These tires must have a really stiff outer sidewall that holds up without a lot of camber. It's the only tire I've ever had that could go around a course without touching most of a tread block on the outside.

Thinking about what other cars have seemed to go ok on the Kuhmo, like a live rear axle mustang, it seems like they might be a good choice for camber challenged cars.

Ya, I'm running -3 front and -2 rear. Perhaps, I should reduce the camber to run reasonable pressures.

I did correct the camber for the tires to achieve proper tire temps across the tread. I've changed tire pressures also. Just seems to eat the center no matter what I do.

That's interesting. Mine did have what appeared to be a graining day on like the second or third event or so; it was really cold at Bristol and I was running 28-29 psi in the fronts. Up to that point I was chewing up the center a bit. That day ate a bit of rubber off all the edges and they have been better behaved ever since. They were genuinely awful going through whatever it was though.

I wonder how much of the center wear is down to the tire/wheel width matching. My fronts are 225 on a 9" which is stretched out a lot. Maybe a 215 on a 7" causes the carcass to bow out in the middle of the tread or something.
