As a side note...

Was at our corvette club meeting last night..they ran at the college this weekend, and was told that they had complaints about their sound.
They didn't have their sound gear with them but they didn't think they were that loud... But they have never gone up to those apartments and checked it out either.
Anyway.. They were told that every weekend there's an event there, that they get calls about the noise.

That's not good. And it's not on us, since I think we're being very proactive about letting sounds down. I would dialect the higher pitch noises like street tires are just as big an issue since the frequencies might project more that the lower tones of engines.

They said their biggest culprits are the New Z06 with the active exhaust.

Thanks for the report.

I see they have one scheduled over there the same weekend as Adesa - I'll try to get over there that Sunday and have a listen.

What time do they actually start running? - I strongly suspect early starts cause more complaints.

I think they start about the same time as we do.

 FTR: new tailpipe arrived in the mail Saturday. If that doesn't shut her up, then I'll make a call or two regarding some kind of auger/supertrapp/bullet muffler shenanigans with the old one.

Hopefully your new setup will take care of it - if not:

If you can get the old assembly to me I'm sure I can come up with some sort of auger / SuperTrapp combination to quiet that down.

Free damage-less evaluation / estimate.
