I went left on two of my three wet runs and it was faster than the wet run I went right on. And I'd like a shot at that course in the dry again too.

In regards to the optional "opational" slalom....

I took it to the right both times I think. Have to check the video

I am pretty sure he is implying that us being in a "big" car should not have liked the course.

I went to the right my 1st two runs, best of 54.7.

I went to the left my last 2 runs, best of 53.8.... and that was with not really knowing where to look ahead going down the hill and driving it pretty indecisively. I probably gave up several tenths not straight lining it to the 2nd slalom cone.

+1 on the Kudos for the course design and would like to see it in the dry
+1 for disliking uphill starts (especially in the rain)
+1 the first slalom was very visually confusing

I had no issue with the uphill start. I liked it

I ran the bottom slalom to the left every time. In the rain, with a lack of grip, I was doing my best to cut distance. There was a lot more distance to be covered by going to the right than you would gain at the other end.

The uphill start required a lot of patience. I left the line like I was leaving a stoplight with a cop behind me and I was 12 years old, driving grandma's stolen car.

My quip with uphill starts is that they are hard on equipment, especially in the dry.

I offered to work if I was needed.

I was offered a refund but I said that the club should keep the money and use it to buy beers for the volunteers :)

It wouldn't have been fair for my time to stand even though I "checked in" before I left. So it was absolutely the right thing for my 1 run to have been dsqed.

I did notice online that there was a time for a second run for me.....but I only took 1 run.
Thanks for letting us know you were leaving. For future reference, we can't give anyone money back if they make a run because we still have to pay the SCCA national office.

I saw that you had two runs, but I thought you made two. I'm not sure what happened there, but my first heat crew must have taken care of it because everything seemed to be in order when I ran results.

My understanding is NO REFUNDS only a credit to attend another local event that's how it reads on MSR.

Thank you ...but just to make my understanding clear that is policy correct? NO REFUNDS only credit towards another local? That's what I've done all season for many people already given them credit to another local event. It has worked out well.

Lol, just call me out then. Don't be all passive aggressive about it. I got a bit upset with the car and rapped into it a bit, won't happen again, but please, you know who I am, no need to be all elusive about it. It's like walking on egg shells recently with Pellissippi.

No, it definitely wasn't you - they were (both) doing donuts in the rain in the way back parking lot.
