Just picked up the new mufflers and will have them ready as soon as Jim can weld them up and I should have some good info by the weekend and it may be sunday as I have to go pick up the new tow vehicle on Saturday.

Any chance we'll have the sound meter available for the Smokies school on Saturday? I'd like to see if my contraption works in the dry.

It'll be there - probably too few to man it Saturday.

You can go to dynomax.com and click on the muffler of choice and hear it as it sounds on a 2010 Camaro.

JY,

The down side of the Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers is that they're aluminized steel, not stainless. Well, they make one SS model, but it's 2.5 inch in and out, not 3 inch.

My exhaust system is 3". Dropping from 3 to 2.5 would restrict flow all by itself, not counting what happens in the muffler. I don't have a blower on my engine to make up for that sort of thing.
