I think a decent chunk of folks are thinking Huntsville Sunday.

I'm thinking either Huntsville or ZmAx. They are pretty close to equidistant from a time standpoint. I'll prob drive over Saturday night to either one of the events.....If someone want's to share a room

I would go to zmax without any doubt as the lot is better and the grip is better and the competition is way better.

Zmax.

Although the course map they posted for huntsville looks like days of old when they would wrap the course around the entire stadium. Still - there are now poles at Huntsville and that hurts it, along with the sealed pavement. Huntsville is closer though and you gain an hour in the morning going there.

+1 on the competition at zMax.

I can think of three CCR regulars who won Solo National Championships this year off the top of my head: Jinx Jordan, SMF, Daniel Wendell, KM, and Steven Duckworth, FSP.

I'm all in on Huntsville. I just haven't really enjoyed zMax.

It's no contest for me. Huntsville is nearly 100 miles further away, over 100 miles if I take the most direct route to zMax over the mountains.

Don't get lost and make a wrong turn downtown, around Charlotte.

Agree ZMax is better for the pro competition to compare against.

I'll probably come down 77 and take the outer loop to Concord. That should be far enough away from the city.

I was in LA for the Watt's riots back in 1965. It was pretty localized. I vaguely remember going on a date to see the Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey circus. I vaguely remember seeing fires from the freeway. LA was a lot flatter then. But it was a long time ago.

Apparently just me from ETR. It was a BLAST. They had something like 200 entries. I'll put up a video in a while to show what the course looked like. It was fast and mostly open. It was designed in part by Daniel Wendell, this year's KM National Champion. However, he denied setting up the wallom section with the offset almost exactly equal to the width of a kart. On the course map, it was a lot tighter.
