Meh, Marcus beat that by a large margin this year with that West course. The whole thing, but especially the showcase turn.
I DNF'd there all 3 runs.. in pouring rain :?

I had no issues with that one and liked it.

Ditto from the guy driving a fat car on street tires. The only problem I had was the showcase turn and that was my own fault for not thinking ahead.

Don't get me wrong: the visuals were horrific, but that course was my favorite course ever, possibly barring one Philly Region event in 2008. If I ever decide to open a kart track, I'm going to take Marcus' course and modify it slightly as the main track. But it will be much easier to follow without 400 cones...

So if nyone that is interested in helping with course wants to jump in, I'm going to be at ADESA at 4 tomorrow.

So, Ben Keefer - you were going to sketch something for the next PSCC event?

Here is something you might find useful (PSCC site layout)

Yessir, I plan on coming up with a couple of ideas to run by you. Thanks for the layout, that does make things easier.

Alright, so Ben's first attempt at course design went much better than my first attempt. Thanks for stepping up.

Who's got event #1 2017?

The course was a lot of fun --- especially once the sun finally set and I could see where I was going.

Yeah the sun was a bit of a hassle that last run group, unfortunately that would be the case somewhere on the course regardless of the design. I can whip up some ideas for #1 but we have plenty of time so certainly should accept submissions from anyone interested.

Where is #1 next year anyways?

Yeah. We don't get it a lot here because of late starts, but it isn't uncommon to have to deal with that if you are 1st heat at national events and running at like 8 in the morning.

Earlier start time would have to be approved by the committee of solo....
