New Season

Post by oldmuscle69 »

Thanks everyone but I can no longer be the timing equipment and so fourth putter outer and repacking person. So anyone that wants to perform this task is more than welcome to do so. I have done so for many years and am done. I still want to just go and race.Still not sure why some folks race and go.(meaning they do something and then gone after the run group order) And I wait until the end.

Bob, would you care to train your replacement?

I hear exactly what you are saying Bob. Over the years I've been in the club you always did a great job at every event you attended. We need to get some younger bucks to step up and learn your work assignment ....thanks again.

I wouldn't mind learning the job. I helped when I could last year and i usually arrive pretty early to events. I also don't think that sound will be much of an issue this year since we lost Pelli, so i can leave that to Mike if he's good with it.

JR...you plan on going to the Bristol events? You have helped with this before need to get a crew together to help at the end of the day.

Jeff James has expressed interest as well. Sounds like we might have a crew coming together.

While I'd love to be helping more before and after events, I'm not even sure how many events I'll get to this year.
Between work,a wedding with two receptions and other distractions, plus none being "local" it's going to be a struggle.
I hate to even commit to helping novices at this point.
This is going to be an interesting year on my end
