No way to tell how many runs. Entry fee will be less than $50 for members. All the runs will count for those not in Pro.

We will do our best to maximize the number of runs.

I plan on promoting after the meeting tomorrow just in case new information needs to be added.

Are we going to create Facebook events for 2017 dates? I was a fan of when that was done.

I think it's a great idea also. It can be shared easily promoting our event.

I believe promoting the event on Facebook, etc. Is what Paul ment with that statement. Once he verifies info at the meeting this evening I'm sure things will pop up..

We were more directly speaking to the Facebook Event feature. For a period of time I think we used to do this, but was stopped due to issues in the past regarding people clicking 'going' thinking that had them officially signed up without even looking at MSR (causing grief for the registration team and maybe having new people show up under-prepared).

Facebook Events seems to be a better promotion tool as the event itself may reach more people due to the nature of Facebook's algorithms. I generally don't praise Facebook, but the events piece is pretty slick. I often find out about cool things because I see that a friend is 'going' or 'interested' in an event. It even reminds me of events that I've committed to. I also understand this will cause extra work for someone (Paul) and will volunteer to help in any way.

I see that the RallyCross guys use Facebook Events so maybe they can chime in with their input?

Michael ...after the meeting tonight once we clear up some Facebook issues you will see events along with a new Facebook group for everyone to chime in on the conversation.
