Just asking cause you all seem to be having trouble. I want a K car automatic, almost bald tires with a fair tune up. Hmm deep or shallow stage. Green light go! Bye Bye.
Bob, thats all it is.

problem is.. its a flat learning curve nailing the throttle... and hanging on for a few seconds in a K-car. VS the STEEP LEARNING CURVE of learning an auto cross course,at speed.

Well, I'm going to run the K car in the Drag cross and keep going on about that. Now just need to find one. It is funny how some thought I was going to run 1320 when we were speaking of drag cross.

Seriously, folks, why isn't this event over-subscribed?! Even if you don't like the math part, go enjoy having all those runs at a great site. I sincerely wish I could do it, but I have one slightly higher priority activity happening that day that takes precedence. Otherwise, I would be there trying to win some $$$$. There are folks coming from New York/New Jersey. Don't let them steal this money!

well... I truly believe that the rules do not fit the agenda of most auto-crossers. Most drivers rely on THAT SINGLE FLIER! one they most likely cant reproduce on demand.
Thats one reason why I like cumulative scoring.. Im not an outlier 1 time flier driver. Im pretty consistant tho.

I think as time draws near,it will fill. And like you say Scott.. its gonna be a good time!

Entry fee is quite high for non-points fun runs if you're looking at it from that perspective.

It isn't that we are calling it fun runs, we are saying come out run and have fun with the chance of winning a lot of money. Just drive your best on every run and you should be right there in the chance of winning some cash.

Agreed....it's almost like a tnt with prize money.. It's awesome with a side of kick ass.
If you've never done a pro solo. It's like that but a little more low key I think. That's not a bad thing.

I wish I could do it, but we made plans last year for that day.

Yes, but their will probably be 4 or 5 cars in line at one time so for the most part just like a pro.

Why didn't we just make it a pro? That would have had much better participation and much less confusion.

We can't get 2 courses that are alike at BMS, but we can do 2 courses that are similar.

What difference does that make? They're never exactly the same anyway...

We don't have access to all the fancy equipment that national has. There is a lot more that goes into a Pro than you think.

That said, the event is happening and the rules are set. All the armchair quarterbacking isn't doing anything productive for this event, especially on a public forum.

You have seen Scott's facebook video. If that doesn't simplify it dor you, I don't know what will. Screw the money. I'm going to try a new autocross format and have fun with my friends. If I win a few bucks at the same time, BONUS!
