Post by jcox07 » Wed Sep 13, 2017 1:37 pm

Event 10 on Sept. 24th will be our last event of the 2017 season and it is at Bristol Motor Speedway. Come and play with ETR for the last time this year and lets make this last event a big numbers event with 5-6 runs and send everyone off till 2018 with a fast course.

Sure I don't mind to announce a heat. Not sure on your course design, but it we want folks to hear, we'll need to make sure the trailer is somewhat near the fence.

I'm not as professional as Mr. Harp but I can and have done announce, without the fancy computer running.

Yeah, the computer gives more details that are somewhat important in order to paint a picture and give some perspective. Current position, difference from next position, and difference from first are the things I use. Mainly, letting folks know how much time is needed to move up or get the lead can build a little excitement.

Pronto's announce client is a lot better, but ours works for what we need.

If it turns out you 2 are in different groups.. you both are in as ANNOUNCE!

was trailer placement ok at Smokeys??

From a timing perspective I'd say it was ok. From an announce perspective, not a prayer because of the distance from the general spectating area. However, I'm not sure how much announce should dictate the starting position of a course - little if any.
