Course seemed fast riding in Kristo's car. I found myself rocking back and forth on the uphill runs on mine.

Haha. Let's just say I had plenty of time to place the car PERFECTLY for that left hander after the uphill run.

I agree the new PA system was great! Could hear your announcements easily while walking the course before the event. One suggestion I would make though....is it possible to get a wireless speaker with the system? We would have benefited by having one up top while we were running. The people watching from up there weren't able to hear.

Great job, Paul! John, that was definitely one of my favorite Smokies courses. Simple, but challenging. Thanks!

All in all, My helper/ replacement had some issues. So I bucked up and did it. The new talking thing is cool. That creates a new position, The talker whom will operate that thing. The course was a blast for that lot. I screwed it up a few times. Turn out for CAM was way COOL. Saw Robert at the store after and he was glad Strange showed up. Sorry he did not. See ya'll next week.

I think I saw a "wireless" knob or button or two on the back of it when I was looking at it...

That is for a wireless mic. Wireless speakers would be more expense and we would have to power them. Not even national uses wireless speakers. We just need to get the FM transmitter back up and running and make sure announce is closer to the spectators than we had at Smokies.

Just kinda going over the raw time results and I would like to give a big shoot out to Brian Robbins and the progress he is making with his car and the times he is running and getting closer and closer to Jim's car and my car. Brian outstanding job on your car's progress and yours as a driver and you are a true inspiration to me and many others in our club and thank you for all you do in helping with the running of our events!

Yep, that was a good battle!

I also like that in a land of V8 top raw times, Chris Ross got FTD in a FWD T4. :D

Chris Ross also has gotten the bugs worked out on his car and I would have liked to have seen what the mustang would have run if it was on R-comps that day. My last run I totally blew the show case turn and ran a 36.878 and that cost me at least 3-4 tenths in that turn but who knows I may not have ran any faster than on the bfg's.
