So, Chris.. with yours laying in the passenger floor,do you take the extra time to sync it and then look at data? And I too, want to see wheel/hand position. I have considered mounting to passenger head rest or somewhere to get some of that..

I assume the tablet has to be Blue Tooth AND Wifi ? One for the GPS and one for Video??

Put a go pro on outside with sd card and then make sure your tablet has a sd slot and just pop it out of go pro into tablet and watch and you also have video from solo storm if you put it in front window like I do. I am not as concerned with hands as I am placement of car and throttle as related to when I pick it up out of turns and when I get out of the throttle going into turns.

Nah, I just look at data. If I was a single driver, I might take the time.

However, I think reviewing video between runs offers limited returns because of the time it takes to do so. I think once you get home and can compare a video to a guy that was faster or in the same neighborhood, you learn a lot more and can begin to see patterns develop in your driving and things you can fix for next time.

Yes tablet needs to be BT and WiFi, but I'm not aware of any that aren't.

The DELL has a Micro SD slot and that would be pretty instant.. and I could see 2 different vies too.right?
The GoPro is WiFi but I prolly wont use it that way.

I've run a go pro 3+ with my solo storm for 3 years now and I love the Wi fi capability, but it eats battery power.
I bought a cheap Samsung Wi fi tablet for 120+ go pro+ solo storm package with GPS unit and was well under 600.

Sounds like what I will be trying next year. I might get with you over the winter and see if I can get it all set up to work correctly.

Yea, the Dell Venue 8 32 was 149.00

as was the GoPro.. however, that may have to get upgraded in order to WiFi Video.

Solo storm sends out updates to the software as they make improvements to it and it is a lot easier to use with go pros and such now without killing battery life as bad as it did.

I got one a couple weeks ago.....

Do you get an email about it, it does it come up on the software?
Been a while since I had the tablet on

Comes up on the soft ware once you click on the solo storm icon.

Oh... That makes sense. I used to get emails.

I've not used the tablet for that in months. 4 months until dixie though....so I'll have to get it going again
