Here's my very optimistic list for the miata. Moving it on over to wheel-to-wheel duty, so a bunch of safety hardware is happening:
-Custom 6-point cage w/ ~200* viewing inboard mirror setup
-OMP HTE-R 400 seat
-Custom Winning Formula seat mounts
-OEM mazda rear hubs w/ new bearings and ARP studs
-Torsen type 2 rebuild
-SadFab delrin diff bushing install
-TrackSpeed Engineering oil kit install
-Oil temp and water temp gauge
-Removeable front air-dam (for SuperMiata S2, https://www.facebook.com/groups/SupermiataEast/ )
-Blackbird Fabworx spoiler (or something similar)
-Lexan windows front/rear
-SadFab delrin NASA package install(no sphericals).

It has nothing to do with autox..... carry on  I will likely dip into a SCCA race occasionally (ITS or STL)

Hoping to get most of it done

Relocate battery to behind pass seat
Add some spring rate to rear and adj sway bar
Replace front lower ball joints
Replace front lower control arm bushings with energy suspension bushings
Replace front upper arm bushings if needed with same
Build front splitter if time
Raise front up to transfer weight
Build new forced air inlet to turbo
Change oil and plugs
Put carpet and trim panels back
Add some boost
O yea ,light a fire under Chris s ass

Currently working on the 69 Corvette. Bought a new clutch and lightweight flywheel. During the install, found that the pilot bearing was shot.... spent about 4 hours cussing and throwing tools. Even made a trip to buy one of those pilot bearing pullers and still didn't get it out.

Did you try packing it full of grease and using a clutch alignment tool and a hammer?

Add to my list: new brake lines. Stainless steel reinforced lines don't live forever on a daily drive car even though they're plastic coated. I have a nice little bulge on one of my front lines.

Yeah, those didn't work. I was confident the bread trick would work, but it took a chisel to get the thing out.

The last one I changed had to be chiseled out too.

I even machined a custom size punch for grease / bread etc - didn't work...

Upgraded front sway bar is installed. OEM sway bar rate was approx. 88 in/lbs at wheel. New sway bar is approx. 434 in/lbs at wheel. First event will be interesting.

Brake line bleed.

Tomorrow install light wt. battery, and new lighter seats.

Still need to find someone who can weld in support brackets for rear sway bar. Broke bracket at last auotocross in 2017. Have upgraded brackets.

Any recommendations for welder preferably in tricites?
