March 3rd test and tune

Post by Stingon »

I have never done a test and tune day. Does it work the same as an event day (as in we work 1/2 day and run the other half)?

Also, will the course be set the same as Sunday's event?

Thanks

I don't think format has been formally discussed or at least shared, but we have historically split into x number of groups and you work 1 group and are free to run all the others.

It will be a different course on Sunday.

When you get to the site on Saturday morning and go to the trailer to let them know you are there, you will sign up for a work assignment of one hour, but you can run any time you are not working in turn by grid spots. You should be able to get 15 runs at least....Depending on how many workers it takes for course, we may have to work 2 one hour stints.

Is it possible to do this event with a weekend membership and not renew my SCCA yet?

Not going to make Test and Tune on Saturday. Car is still in pieces, hopefully I will be there Sunday. Ran into snag putting in new seats and putting old seats back in.

What an awesome test n tune we had today, lots of runs and lots of smiling faces as well. Fast and flowing course and bms courses rock. See everyone in the morning.
