Car class help...I was in FP

Post by JazzRacer »

Hi,
Need a bit of help. I still drive my 1995 BMW E36 M3 that I've run in FP the last couple of years albeit not well 😂.

Anyhow, I've recently changed to carbon fiber hood, added front splitter (is flat, but has a 2" drop down from stock bumper and extends about 0.5" beyond side of front bumper), plus a BimmerWotld rear wing (true wing contour, end plates, and the uprights that place it ~12" above the trunk) for my track needs but still want to run in autocross.

If I read the GCR correctly the car no longer qualifies for Prepared (F or P) nor Modifed. Am I missiing something?

Any suggestions?

Hopefully my 2 recent knee surgeries won't keep me away this weekend.

Thanks,
Michael

I didn't hear anything that would keep you out of XP. We have a healthy local XP class where you'd be more than welcome.
