Thanks to Randy and Jim for the gas. We ran out about 1/2 mile from the pump.

Great event, well done everyone! Course was fun, much more challenging that it seemed while walking.

I almost missed registration this morning because of fuel. The Fiat dash computer range just goes to ------ bars when you get below 40 miles before out.

Hoping low fuel was the reason the kart kept bogging and cutting out on the 3 180 turns. :?

Anyone know what cone I hit on my last run? Never felt it.

Fun times

I'd imagine so. :)

The pin cone finish was 19 mph for me. Now I don't know about anyone else but that was my favorite part!!

I was about the same speed as my tranny will NOT go to 1st while rolling (needs some sync work), so I had to bog 2nd gear. I watched others have all kinds of fun down shifting, spinning the rear around and take off like a rocket.

According to wheel speed and RPM, my minimum speed at the last turn was 25 MPH and 2500 RPM. According to my last chassis dyno run, I have about 300 ft lbs of torque at the flywheel at that speed. No need to downshift. I was never happy with my line, though. Mostly I was braking too late and sliding past the cone.

The downshift to 1 worked for me.

I liked the downshift to first also. But blew past the pin cone 2 out of three times.
