It really hurt my mood going into nationals, but once I completely gave up on being dry and realized the car was stable in the flood, I actually had a better time than I did on the other side when it was dryer.

Oddly enough, I gained a lot of confidence driving in the rain.

Sacrificed a nationals to do it, but I feel like I learned a ton. Don't really want to run SSC again, but I almost feel obligated to try.

The variance in pace is so strange. Lots of folks that know what they're doing not doing so well. Beneway is a wheelman though. Have known him since the old Subie days. Stick with it, you've only had the car for a few months. And now you have a known local quantity to run against (McCrary).
