Jax held the flag and someone's daughters sang the National Anthem at the drivers meeting. It was really cool.

As far as I know. I didn't hear anything about it until it was going on. Really cool to see kids taking that initiative.steverife wrote: ↑Wed Aug 29, 2018 9:02 amImpromptu? The idea came to me from John Christenbury. His daughter sings in the Seymour High School Choir. I thought it was a great idea and passed him on to Pilson for approval. I'm sure they did a great job.

Update on the GT350. The car is back together and will be headed to Lincoln in the morning. It's been a long 4 days to get it done in time. Thanks to those that helped make it happen. Randy Adkins, Tim Strange at Strange's Custom Auto in Newport, Randy Blazer at Gateway Ford in Greeneville, and Westagte Tire in Newport. I also want to thank everyone who runs with ETRSCCA for their support and concern.

Sorry for late response. The girls knocked it outa the park, the flag was the best ever. Chris best action pictures in a long time. keep them coming. And lets play ball. We all tried on this day. And that's how it ended.

My take on 2018 nationals. We were prepared for the rain so no problem there just staying wet for three days was uncomfortable. The change overs between each heat really slowed the pace. I believe like 2 hrs over the coarse of the day. The east course was not designed for the pace we needed to keep. After changes made they became more productive and really had no problem Wednesday thru Friday considering the numbers. If they want to maintain 1400 entrants I would recommend running on Monday also. That would take 20% of load off the other four days. Still have Wednesday/Friday banquets as normal. Just more classes finishing for the Wednesday one. That way the days would be shorter and build in more time for delays. Since many are on site before Monday this will not impact the operational aspects of event a great deal. Had a lot of fun this year. Learned much from others and can’t wait to get back next year!

Re: Regional 9 after action
As of now Monday's are not an option on running classes as this would create more chiefs and captains and pull from the worker folks which is already getting very thin, but SCCA has said no running on Monday...
