Chris

You have my vote to design more course's. I thought that it was great and as even as you can get for all the different types of cars. I like the fact that you had to drive and force yourself to look ahead. Great job. Thanks.

Thanks Jim and thanks for taking my friend for a ride. Sounds like if someone wanted to spend some time on researching ballast placement and how much in CAM, there could be some good gains to be had.

Yeah looks like you needed 400+ HP V8 and to weigh 3500 lbs to do well on this course. :D

We brought the wrong car!

I enjoyed the course even in my big boat. The hard turns weren't as painful as I thought they'd be when walking it. Even less so after I got some changes and made the car rotate better and forced myself to give it up early. I still couldn't force myself to take the right line in a couple places though. Good job Chris!

I agree with the car placement comments.

I think this course touched on some deficiencies in my driving that I typically don't get to practice locally.

Another vote for a great course and course designer here. It had enough speed, rewarded looking ahead, and punished not doing so.

My best two runs from the weekend, Bristol and zMax. You can kinda see/hear where the car lost power at the first right hander on my Bristol run... not sure if it was fuel starvation or not, not gonna run it down that low on fuel again tho.

Interesting at 0:29 you didn't continue to pull the car back to the left to ease the entry to the next right hander for the run out. You pretty much drove straight to the cone and chucked it in there. I guess that's where a V8 helps to cut distance and dig out.

Really enjoyed the different course from what we're used to at Bristol. As other said, it certainly did make it more of a mental challenge than usual.

Big thanks to Dave Rodgers for letting me abuse the Mustang. It was a hoot. I'm amazed I didn't actually loop it with my quite 'stabby' throttle inputs on that big V8.

yeah I think Marcus might've been doing that back section better than me.. compared to the vette it doesn't rotate quite as well steady-state so I'm finding myself driving kind of point to point, relying on trail braking pretty aggressively to wrap it around cones.

Yeah Marcus nailed the sweeper in the back. That's the line I anticipated and tried to take, but it was difficult to look where I needed to look. I think I got that closer to correct on my fast run, but still could have been better.

Just realized that I would have had to basically run 52's raw to beat Cathers. LOL.

52's would be perfectly reasonable in full STX trim lol
