GT 350 feels great..
however, I dont think driving for a school is near the knife edge as competing in a Pro Pax class, won or lost by tenths.
Theres no doubt I won many in a small car.. but even back then,it was winning by very small margins.

And... willfully so, a CAMC car is prolly the absolute worst car to compete in Pro with.. I get that.
And like I said.. I wasnt there. but, the videos I have watched looked so busy there was never a neutral moment of inertia...

Long slaloms, even with wide cone spacings, are always going to favor cars with narrower tracks over cars with wider tracks.

It was in the ballpark. Course was about 3415 ft (.65 mile), and I counted around 30 inputs.

The distance and time tells you that it was tight, we have run .8 tenths and .9 tenths of a mile in the same time as this one 52 seconds.

I wonder if anyone thinks my car is a smallish big car, or if a C5 Z06 is.

I'd like to see the data that gets another 2000 feet out of that lot

Thanks Mark now I have an excuse for sucking on Sunday. The car is too wide. JB I don’t want to hear about your wide car anymore. :P Lol we have video from Sunday maybe Jim can post one or two. I turned a 53.9 clean and a 53.6 dirty which were the downed cones rife put down at the finish I run over. I left at least a second on course with all the mistakes I made but I would have needed two seconds to meet ES pax. The soloms were good but the offsets hurt me. The 3780 lb car felt heavy between the transitions.

If you do the average speed on the .65 tenth of a mile at 53 seconds being the time it takes to run the course, it comes out to 44.15 mph for the entire course. I will try and find video on my stupid tablet if I can get it to charge and show a .8 to .9 tenths of a mile course as we have run many at bms close to a mile in length.

Sure I'm really curious to see it. I measured with Google maps, not solostorm data but I bet steve could tell us feet traveled.

FWIW, I would let this go but when we consider a 400 foot launch, middle of 3rd gear "slalom", and a pin cone in the same course a successful, fun, or balanced course design, something needs to change.
