depends on construction. I've been held up the last two times through. You might indeed be faster in the morning.

Well... Jim,Steve V. Pilson and myself had a good time. JY suffered anti-lock issues. Rife suffered SSC issues..
With exceptions of a couple of elements... I could have set the course up myself..

It was a 2 day event with great weather in October. Cannot complain about that. Saturday, I worked 1st heat, ran 3rd, and then grabbed lunch and watched football at the bar with Wolf and Bostic for about 4-5 hours. That's darn near my perfect autocross day.

Courses were pinchy in places, but overall pretty good, IMO. On Saturday, I kissed limiter at the first offset coming out of the tight S turn stuff and got hard limiter maybe a few feet from the finish line. Sunday, I kiss the limiter in maybe 2 places then grabbed 3rd at the finish. Didn't look at PAX, don't care about PAX. :D

...but the zMax surface is weird. The car basically gives me the same regardless of surface everywhere. I use maybe half a turn of rebound to fine tune. Not zMax. Car is awful there. Also, that is the only site where I feel like the car gets progressively worse throughout the run and understand what people are saying about the Falken's not handling heat. I messed up by not spraying them at all.

Got to figure out what is causing the abs light to come on and not have any working abs and service advance trac light is also on. Changed a melted wheel speed sensor we thought was the issue and still no abs just lock up when any touch of the brake pedal...anyone got any ideas????

Bad module? Something bad with harness and wiring?

JY,

Likely one or more of the other wheel speed sensors is also bad. That would affect both abs and stability control, as both depend on knowing relative wheel speeds.

Those are some things I am going to have to test for as air in brake line, bad steering rack and not sure how that would make the abs not to work but on the forums it says that is an issue and I haven't got it up in the air and will when I get home this evening and check the other wheel speed sensors.

Underprepped STP car is still good for mid-pack in CAMC. It's still fun to drive. Courses were typical for what I have seen at Zmax. Thinking about heading to an Atlanta region event next.
