Cam here, I'll take a 2xl. And yes, I'm a member ;)

The 94-97 Miata is allowed in STS provided you run an open differential, which sucks cause I've got a perfectly good torsen from back when the car was in STR sitting in my garage that I really could've used in more than a few places. I'm not making that much more power than a 1.6 car (maybe 15-20hp max,) but the 1.6 cars can make this up in weight advantage easily. I'm probably somewhere in the 2250-2300lbs range (granted, I haven't done a lot of weight reduction,) while a well prepped 1.6 can easily get sub 2100 (Or in David Whitener's case, sub 2000.)
