Could they be that much faster than the 305/19 RE-71R's? Or was there some other factor that wasn't obvious from the results.
It rained first heat on Sunday which is when CAM C ran, CAM S ran 2nd heat. If I remember AS didn't run till 4th heat so they had dry runs.

Weather was relatively consistent all day Saturday, but I think the course might have been a little dirty/damp to start the day.

Sunday, Heat 1 had rain, Heat 2 wet, Heat 3 drying, Heat 4 & 5 pretty dry.

AS was 4th heat.

Course was pretty wiggly for wider stuff and pretty much a road course for "momentum" cars, especially Saturday.

Yeah, I was thinking it would be good to see a Cathers/Cashmore matchup.

That explains it. RE-71R's are supposed to be better in the wet than BFG's. The fastest raw times on Saturday in CAM-S were set on BFG's and were faster than the fastest Saturday AS times.

Had a great time this weekend... Still recovering. Only my 3rd autocross in 18 months. Lol

I think that was the most comfortable and confident I have been in the car in years. Courses were a blast and I wish we could've gotten 3 totally dry runs in on Sunday. Changing conditions each run meant you were always chasing the dry spots. I got a rerun after the sledgehammer hammered the finish so that was a tell tale right there... Dropped 2 seconds from that run alone.

Big thanks to Mark for driving the car with me and hauling it down for me. Was great to see not only the etr crew and hang out but also to see the second family of SCCA peeps again.
We brought a stick to a gunfight in XP, but it was a blast nonetheless.

I'm fearing that it was in the bed of the truck and I missed it.... Then since the cover wasn't on, it blew out somewhere in Georgia.
