I definitely think it takes skill.

I just don't think it was fun. The year that I was trying to win Pro, I was points racing and only really went for it a couple of runs all season. Competing is fun and winning is fun, but I didn't enjoy driving nearly as much as the events where I'm just trying to throw down a flyer, like at a pro solo.

If you're going to do RallyX timing, then do it. No dropped runs. Bogie times for DNF's, etc. Even better, change the course some between runs. Picking and choosing which parts of RallyX timing to use, especially after the fact, is bogus.
