They did move that back wall after the finish back another 20 feet further back and it still wasn't enough in the dry and many fast horsepower cars were not able to get slowed enough to make the turn without going thru the back wall and try to come back in where they went out so it wouldn't be a dnf.

I didn't have a problem in the dry. In the wet on BFGs, yea wasn't happening.

Overall it was a good event, can't help the weather. But I'd rank Saturday as worse than Nats last year from a discomfort standpoint. Glad we got dry runs Sunday because the course was really fun. Sucks the Challenges got cancelled, especially since I woulda made it for the first time. As Steve said the town really welcomed us there and that was surprising but a very good thing considering sites being lost. And between the BBQ at the welcome party and the buffet Saturday the food was great.

We had some fun joking with each other, worked on cars a bit, got to race and slip around a bit and hit some good dinner spots while in town. Overall good weekend playing with cars. Thanks to Jim for the Co-Drive.

Dunno about you guys, but this work week absolutely wore me out...

I think I might be getting too old for travel autocross.
