I got a dadgum sunburn, wasnt expecting that. Great course - slaloms were a good pace, last slalom was fun to connect to the far sweeper on damp tires, increasing radius first turn around was a blast to power oversteer out of.

I had a great time today and had fun in the new car. Course was lots of fun.once I figured everything out. I need lots more time in the car to get a feel for the all wheel drive. Its completely different from anything I'm used to. Met lots of new people hope they will continue to run with us.

Fastest official run. Ran a little quicker with a rider on my last run but I was just playing with how tight I could stay on cones... the course was getting faster every run and the tires were finally getting heat in them.

Busy day. Drove poorly. Wasn't happy with the car. Car making an awful popping noise when the driver side rear unloads. Need to deal with that before Dixie.

Good to get out. Amazing weather.

Damn, James. Looks like a few spots to pick up some time but amazing driving (again). Kart drivers can drive with one hand on the wheel...

I totally agree with all the good comments above. It was good to see a different look from what we were doing. The only complaint I have about the course is I would have liked a little more room on the exit after the lights. In an unfamiliar car, that was a little tight. I LOVED everything else about the course, except the puddles. Please fix those for next time.

I was a little worried about that, but I had 40 days and 40 nights to get slowed in the FRS.

Cold wet brakes in the kart made the finish interesting my first run. I used a bit more of the chute than I'd expected to get slowed before turning. But there was a long, uphill open section to slow down without getting in anyone's way. And second the puddles/rivers comments...

I know it was still damp in places at the end of the day.. but, We need to really thank BMS for the gallant effort to displace all the water that was running across the lot...

Already sent Trey an email on that as Ken went above and beyond trying to help move the water and it really did help a lot.

Great course, and great weather. A nice way to kick off the season.

Not sure who built the course but they used the lot well and obviously thought about using the elevation changes to make it more fun.

Never been to an event with a tractor with a sweeper and blower moving water off the lot before.

Anyway, had a great time. Thanks to the crew that put on the event.

One more thing, anybody know the story behind the cool convertible Fiat that went the wrong way on the course?

Dave just got "dis- combobulated" Happens to all of us at some point.
You miss a gate or spin out.. and if you dont take a moment to re establish your location, you can really go the wrong direction..
Run is over... take your time,be safe in your movement.
