STM XSA XSB WTF!?!
STM XSA XSB WTF!?!
Is STM still alive locally? Or will XSA XSB take over? I'm not sure which direction I'm going with my car yet. But, it would be nice to know what letters to get if I order new magnets.

Do you want to run any national events or just locals?

ETR will still have STM at our locals.

I'm not running nationally except maybe one of the Bristol events. I might run STH but if I go with wider wheels than the class allows it'll be STM or XSA. I just want to go to a class with at least a few people in it. Having said that, is anyone who normally competes in STM switching over?

Re: STM XSA XSB WTF!?!
I'd probably get both sets of magnets. We'll still offer STM locally, but for Bristol National, we won't, so you'd need the others. I expect we'd also offer the XS classes at locals. Given how low the turnout has been in STM, if I were in your shoes, I'd be prepared to run whichever had the most people that day.
For what it's worth, I expect XS A/B to be fairly popular as the year progresses. Perhaps not regionally, but I'd expect it would always make a class at national events.

I believe I would need to add about 100lbs, so I guess I will stay in STM ... well when I can make the events

Have you done anything significant to cut weight on the car or is it just that light? Just curious. I don't know Loti.

Over they years I have continued to reduce the weight (remove & toss method along with lighter parts), not exactly sure where it is today ... would guess 1920.
