Atlanta Pro

Post by John Brown »

So, is the Tennessee contingent just waiting to sign up?

I'm seriously considering going... anyone else?

I’m signed up! Bristol pro solo was my favorite event of the year. I’m not sure how I feel about only 1 course. But it’s worth a shot

Watching the weather. Will sign up last minute if it is nice (and we have the event). I'm not going to stand in a November rain to run bump.

I'm waiting on the weather to see if it is going to be good and then sign up last minute.

I'm 99% out. I'm saving my funds for Dixie in December and I'm not too interested in a single course Pro, especially for only one day.

I'll never support single course Pro Solos (even if ETR hosted one) until they are our only option for Pros.

I think single course Pros give the national staff an excuse to be lazy from a site acquisition standpoint.

The only problem with that Eric is site acquisition isn't a national office issue, it is a region issue and national office will help try and get new sites if asked and I may or may not think the site they pick is a good one and or a site that the region could afford to use...

I hope that this Pro Solo 1 not making numbers and the ATL local the day after having 130+ entrants lets the National office know that this PS1 BS isn't something anyone wants.

If we keep losing sites that can support a PS 2 which I think Atl. can but if sites are lost it may be what the PS series has to go to and I was going to go just to see how it would work.

Honestly, I think I like the PS1 concept. I'm just a fair weather autocrosser during global pandemics. :)

Yea, I can take PS1 or PS2.. no big preference on that.. but, like Rife, I'm a fair weather AXr no matter the Global Pandemic Climate.
Cold and big street tires are terrible.

Maybe a Zmax in the near future!

Yeah, I'm also a fair weather autocrosser in non-global pandemics. :)
