Event 1

Post by jcox07 »

Big thanks to everyone that stepped up their game and helped put on a successful first event. Thanks especially to those that help in the timing trailer, too many folks to name, but thank you all who came out and hopefully it was as fun for everyone as it was for me! See you all in April for event 2 and the eye school is the Saturday before the event, so get signed up for both and we will see you soon! JY

Thanks everyone for helping with timing.

I had to unexpectedly run a new main water line from the road to my house... so I was a little busy or I'd have been there.

Thanks for all the efforts, it was a great event. BTW, does anyone know where the sound meter is?

I really enjoyed my first autocross events this weekend! Thanks to everyone for putting this on. I think I am hooked now. When and where will information be posted and registration available for the school in April?

JY told me today that the sound meter was in the Van. And it didn't look good.

Are you talking about the ETR driving school or an evo school that ETR is hosting? Neither is listed on the ETR schedule though... but I know they are planned.

I don't see any link for it on the ETR website. Evo school's site isn't working right... tells you to put your zip in for local events, but does nothing. Don't see anything on their FB page either.

JY - any help on that?

Yeah I had seen it listed here for Apri 17th: http://forum.etrscca.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=11968
I haven't seen any other mention of it or information.

Fun event. Good to see everybody again. Good to see 110 drivers at the event. I don't know if I'll be able to get to any other events this year, though.

The ETR school should be open soon for registration but we are only taking the first 25 and then it is waitlisted after that. JY

1st off, nice course John..... I only noticed a few spots where the pavement had been ground down, not much difference besides the bump in the exit of the return sweeper

Awesome first event, huge turn out and once the sun came out the weather was pleasant, although a bit windy. The track seemed way smoother through the gate heading out, I remember how rough that used to be. The car handled a lot better this year, after making some small adjustments to the suspension. I was surprised to see myself further up the list of time versus the events last year. Maybe I will see if I can get a spot at the school, I wouldn't mind some pointers for driving quicker if I can get in

Where are the videos? I'm curious how the lot looks and feels now.
