Event 5 after action

Post by jcox07 »

Other than the rain for run group 2, a pretty good day, 102 entries and 6 runs. Thank you to all that really helped out and stepped up to make this event a success! JY

I was talking with a friend and realized I was in second for the novice class. He mentioned a t-shirt. This is my second event. Was I supposed to hang around?

That was a fun course. The design also allowed more cars on the course at the same time than the event #4 course. I'm glad I didn't have another driver because it seemed like I barely had time to spray the tires between runs. I was surprised there were so few non-pro CAM-C cars, but I'll take a class win any way I can get it.

Awesome, challenging course. Had an absolute blast. If only i would have stayed off the cones, would have won class.

Loved the course, was just fast enough imo. Wish I had about 500 more rpm but it worked! New tires are in the making so hopefully I'll be able to keep that backend in line next event. Glad we had cold water this event, not sure I would've made it without! I think I drank over a gallon throughout the day. Crazy how quick it dried out with so much rain

Fun course, hated I was limping around all day. Only complaint was the placement of trailer and how we had to get classes and numbers for timing, made things a lot more clunky than necessary.
