Class Question

Post by DarkStar »

I would like to participate in the next autocross at Smokies stadium. Can someone please help me on class so I can go ahead and make my magnets.

If ready, I would be running a Stock 1985 Porsche 944 with street tires.

If not ready in time, 2001 Porsche 911 Cabrio non-turbo, stock with street tires.

It will be my first race.

So I will have an N to begin with, i suppose. Then what else? How do I know what numbers are available?

Thanks,

Erik

I'm not familiar with Porsches, but the class listing says that a 944 (8v) is in E Street (ES). A 944 Turbo or 16V is in C Street (CS)

The 996 911 non-turbo is A Street (AS)

Thank you. That Helps a lot.

996 is normally aspirated: So I'm thinking: NAS84

944: NES84

The NES/NAS in at least 4" letters and the 84 in 8" letters?
